I’m looking for a specific item. How can I find out if you have it in stock?
Please call the store or come by and visit is! If we don’t have what you need in stock, we can most likely order it and have it in stock within 2-3 days.
Do you special order firearms?
Yes, we can. Please visit our location to inquire about a special order.
Do you offer a military or law enforcement discount?
Thank you for your service! We do offer 10% off all Range time. We will also run specials throughout the year dedicated to military and law enforcement.
Do you handle firearm transfers?
Yes, we do. Please visit us in the store to complete the transfer paperwork. We will need to know the firearm’s make, model and serial number, as well as the dealer’s information so we can contact them.
Do you offer gunsmithing services?
Yes we do!
Can anyone use the range?
We are open to the public; no membership required to shoot! Minors under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
How large is the range?
Our range features 10 climate-controlled lanes that are 25 Yards long.
How many people are allowed per lane?
One shooter is allowed per lane at a time.
What type of targets can I use at the range?
Only paper targets may be shot at the range. Targets are available for purchase.
Do you offer rental firearms?
Yes, we offer rental handguns, long guns and automatic weapons. If you use a rental firearm, you must use ammunition purchased from The Range at 601. See a complete list of rental guns here. (clickable link)
Do I need experience to shoot at the range?
We welcome shooters of any and all experience levels! Our well trained Range personnel will help you get started! We also offer a variety of classes for every experience level and encourage first time shooters to sign up for beginner’s classes.
Does the range allow shooters to use outside ammo?
Yes, we do allow outside ammo. However, we reserve the right to inspect and approve the use of any ammunition not purchased at The Range at 601. For your safety, tracer, armor piercing and steel core ammunition is prohibited.
Am I allowed to take pictures or video?
Yes; private use of cameras is allowed at the range.
Do you have a dress code?
Appropriate dress is required. We require both ear and eye protection to be worn in the range. We recommend all shooters wear closed toe shoes and avoid low cut tops to avoid injury from hot cartridge casings.
